Hello and welcome to our blog! We initially started talking about creating a blog as a way to not only keep in touch, but share our love of food, wine, fashion, décor, travel, books, and music, with our friends, families, and rest of the world. We’ve got to admit, we can be pretty sarcastic at times, so this blog may not be for everybody. However, our mothers always taught us that honesty is the best policy. Cheers to that!
A little about…Michelle
Well hello, world. Where do I begin? I’ll try and make this quick. On the cusp of my 30th birthday and I decided that it was time to take some risks. Quit my stable job in Pittsburgh, sell my house, move to east Tennessee and live in sin with my lovely boyfriend, Mark? Sounds like a GREAT idea. Actually, it has been. Though it’s only been a few months, I’ve learned that change, above all, requires inner strength and a degree of faith.
I’m a Taurus and, true to form, am attracted to beautiful things. This explains my love for fashion, styling, baubles, delicious snacks and meals, decorating, landscaping, and all things in between. Entering this next phase of my life, I’m embracing my passions. I hope you enjoy.
A little about…Jenn
Hi! My name is Jenn. My husband and parents call me Jennifer, my friends call me Jenn and my one Grandmother calls me Jenny (or any other name of someone from my family). I married my awesome husband Michael in July 2009 and I still heart his face ;) Michael is in the military and we’re currently living on a base in Germany until spring of 2013 which leaves us far from our stateside family and friends but allows me to indulge my travel bug! No babies for us yet, but we do have 2 cats, Tyrone and Lucy and they keep us entertained. I love a good deal…seriously, I shop clearance racks at clearance stores! Sale shopping is a game for me; I get pissed if I pay anything close to full price. I’m a huge fan of food! I eat pretty healthy but I have my days where I say screw it, give me pizza, beer and wings! I love yoga even though I don’t get to do it as much as I used to. I’m a beach girl…if you want to see me happy and fairly quiet, put me on a beach! I talk a lot and to pretty much anyone who will listen, so you’re screwed if you’re stuck on a plane next to me (don’t worry though, I’m actually fun to talk to). I like to use exclamation points when I write. I’m addicted to pinterest! Last but not least, and I hate to admit it, but I watch those Ghost Hunting shows on TV.
